As an Account Executive you will be looking to identify shippers to trust our organization with their freight. We provide full operational and accounting support to put you in a position to continually (A) cultivate your sales pipeline for new customers (B) drive account strategy with the operations support roles for existing customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director, Sales Operations to develop and implement growth-based sales strategies that achieve revenue and profit targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Use independent judgement and discretion to determine which shippers have freight transport opportunities, which lanes to quote, which loads to accept and do so in a way that achieves revenue and profit targets.
- Effectively identify decision-makers and establish/maintain relationships with shippers that contribute to reaching revenue and profit targets.
- Collaborate internally with operations teams to strategize and respond to RFP/RFQ’s.
- Collaborate with operations team members to provide excellent customer service and prompt issue resolution.
- Use company provided CRM to manage the entire all stages of the sales pipeline and the associated leading indicator metrics that result in hitting revenue and profit targets.
- Travel to customer, carrier and/or prospective client sites as needed to facilitate profitable and sustainable relationships within the business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but no degree required.
- 2+ years’ experience in logistics/transportation sales.
- History of successful growth and revenue attainment in a sales role.
- Comfortable prospecting on phone and electronically.
- Strong professional written and verbal communications skills.
- Proficient with MS Office, expertise with MS Excel.
